This past weekend was another beautiful weekend...couldn't be more perfect for a picnic at the park.
We went to Avery's favorite park...the "airplane park". She calls it that because the airport is very near and the planes coming in for landing, fly super-close to the ground. And it's real loud!
After lunch it was time to play of course and why not make new friends too. Avery is pretty good about doing that anywhere and everywhere she goes....
This next pic cracks me up because not only was David helping Avery across the monkey bars, he was helping every kid that came up to it. He was "monkey bar patrol". The bars were really high off the ground and it seemed like such a long fall if the kid got stuck or slipped off. HA! He also wanted to show me how big is muscles are and he started doing pull ups on the bars....I couldn't get my camera up fast enough and he would NOT do them again for a pic!

I'm ready for weather like this again! Where's the sunshine? Love those family days!
how fun! the weather's been gorgeous here too. We've been going outside for walks pretty much every day!! We had a picnic the other day too. We got sonic and went to the dogwood trails and had a picnic on a blanket in the middle somewhere =p!
